Ms. Yucel Named Teacher of the Year:
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our school community! Our very own Ms. Yucel has been selected as the 2027 Europe West District Teacher of the Year by the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA). Ms. Yucel, an 11th-grade English and social studies teacher at Spangdahlem High School, was recognized for her outstanding dedication to student learning, her innovative teaching practices, and her commitment to inspiring every student to succeed. This prestigious honor highlights educators who go above and beyond to make a lasting impact in their classrooms and school communities. Being named District Teacher of the Year is a significant achievement, and Ms. Yucel will now represent the Europe West District in the next stage of the DoWEA Teacher of the Year program.
