Let's celebrate our Sentinel Aniya R

Cadet SMSgt Aniya R was selected for the Summer Seminar at the United States Air Force Academy. This competitive program gives students the opportunity to experience life on campus firsthand. The program is specially designed for high school juniors heading into their senior year. Summer Seminar allows participants to live like a U.S. Air Force Academy cadet for four days. Selection for the Air Force Academy Summer Seminar is very competitive. For example, there are more than 3,200 applicants each year and only 600 selectees. The selection team considers the “whole-person concept” in making its final decision. Students will complete the following activities: 

• Live in cadet dormitories and eat at the cadet dining facility 
• Explore academic facilities and research labs 
• Participate in a variety of workshops, including some to assist with Air Force Academy applications
