Principal's Corner

Guten Tag Sentinel Students and Families,

As we close another incredible school year at Spangdahlem High School, I want to just say thank each of you for making this year so meaningful.

This year, our Sentinel community demonstrated what it truly means to R.I.S.E. up! Through your Respect for one another, your Integrity in the classroom and beyond, your commitment to Safety, and your daily Effort to learn, grow, and succeed, you helped create a school culture that we can all be proud of.

We celebrated academic achievements, athletic accomplishments, artistic talents, leadership opportunities, and countless moments of kindness and perseverance. More importantly, we witnessed students supporting one another, overcoming challenges, and becoming stronger individuals. These are the moments that define who we are as Sentinels.

As we look ahead, I encourage you to carry the values of R.I.S.E. with you throughout the summer. Continue to show respect in your communities, act with integrity in all you do, make safe choices, and give your best effort in every opportunity that comes your way. These values do not end when the school year ends. They are the foundation of who we are and who we continue to become.

As Michelle Obama once said, “Success isn’t about how much money you make. It’s about the difference you make in people’s lives.”

Each of you has made a difference in our school this year, and I am grateful to have been part of your journey.
